Mayor Barry names senior adviser on innovation

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry has appointed a music industry executive to serve in her office as senior adviser on innovation. According to a news release, Nancy Shapiro, currently senior vice president for special projects for The Recording Academy (Grammy Awards), will serve in a volunteer capacity.
