Franklin-based Community Health Systems (NYSE: CYH) has bought 35 acres of land in Antioch for its previously announced expansion there. The Tennessean reports that CHS bought the land from locally based Oldacre McDonald LLC and its development partner, TPA Group, for $4.22 million. Oldacre McDonald and TPA Group are pursuing a 300-acre mixed-use project in the area. CHS plans to invest $66 million in a new shared services center at the site, which is expected to eventually house 2,000 employees.
