
Charlie Cook, one of the most recognizable bankers in Nashville and chairman of Truxton Trust Corp., is retiring. Cook’s retirement, effective Jan. 1, means there will be reshuffling among the leadership at the Nashville bank, known for its heavy emphasis on the trust business as well as its balance sheet, which is one of the healthiest among banks in the state.
