Davidson County Property Assessor George Rooker Jr. is expecting an "historic increase" in home values in the city's next reappraisal, coming in 2017. The Tennessean reports that Rooker told the newly created Metro Council Ad Hoc Affordable Housing Committee last week that he expects to see the overall value for single-family homes to increase between 33 and 37 percent over 2013, the city's last reappraisal.
